Requirements
- Bachelor degree in an applicable field of study.
- Experience Required: 5+ years in security management or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in technology based security applications (design, integration, use, and/or implementation).
- Required: FAA Part 107 and/or 108 Class License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Required: Demonstrable application in the use of security risk assessment to define a mitigation measure.
- Complementary skills in risk management and emergency planning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to analyze and assess complex issues.
- Proven ability to manage several critical tasks simultaneously while operating in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Proven ability to grasp technology solutions in an integrated site + national/international enterprise security posture.
- Required: English.
Responsibilities
- Technical security measures within your AOR include the following areas and their support devices (not an exhaustive list): visitor management platform, electronic access control system, video management system, mass communication platform, offline electronic key access, integration of security platforms, long-range readers for parking areas, body worn camera platforms, autonomous devices for surveillance and interdiction, anomalous behavior detection and investigation, continual improvement of such systems via data analytics, readiness measurement via TTX and live exercises, etc.
- Technical security activities including self delivered and third party security solutions.
- Maintain and upkeep site security plans and implement new FAL Security Plans.
- Development and creation of the Central Control Room.
- Regular security risk assessments and risk reporting related to security infrastructure.
- You will liaise with the Airbus Security Management team and Airbus’ Security Partners to ensure a standardized and harmonized approach to daily activities and processes are achieved at the Airbus Americas Mobile Manufacturing Final Assembly Line (FAL).
- You will oversee the security infrastructure support for the emergency planning and physical response at the FAL by: Ensuring suitable and sufficient technical support measures are in place for all foreseeable emergencies and the testing thereof, Liaising with the FAL’s Fire & Emergency Services Manager and Site Security Operations Manager to ensure proper and adequate coordination between armed security, fire and rescue service providers, and the supporting technology solutions are in place, efficient and effective.
- Assist to fulfill the requirements laid out in the Airbus Security directives, identifying gaps and improvements and implementing the solutions. This will be accomplished in large part by your participation as a physical security representative during construction / expansion / improvement projects, ensuring standards and requirements are met.
- Responsible for capturing all relevant risks using the Airbus Risk Management process then identifying and implementing suitable mitigation measures. Ensure all risks are periodically and routinely reviewed when necessary as part of a continual improvement process.
- Support all security activities and security initiatives.
- Support all Airbus lean initiatives and in particular organize and manage go-look-see process confirmation and report on findings on a weekly basis.
- Maintain oversight and control of the operational security budget (Opex and Capex) in accordance with the Airbus Americas Director of Security Operations’ directives. This includes the creation, management and good receipts of relevant AOR purchase orders.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with relevant external organizations and law enforcement agencies in alignment with the Site Security Operations Manager. (Mobile Airport Authority, TSA, CBP, Mobile Police, others).
- Enforce service provider’s compliance related to contractual work package agreements.
- Participate in the Airbus Crisis Management Team as an alternate when needed.
- Maintain currency in security technological advances, best practices and lead activities to identify efficient, innovative and cost effective security solutions to emerging challenges.
- Developing strong customer relations with the client leadership team.
- Develop effective partnerships with Facilities and HR and all other Airbus business areas as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred: Comprehensive experience in computer skills, G-SUITE.
- Experience with managing a security contractor is desirable but not essential.
- Industrial manufacturing security and/or law enforcement experience is a plus.
- Preferred: Demonstrable application in the use of security risk assessment to define a mitigation measure.
