Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Marketing/Business
  • Experience in sales and / or shopper marketing of 5 to 7 years, ideally in the consumer-packaged goods market (CPG)
  • Understanding of Consumer/Shopper and Customer Planning and Management processes/tools
  • Experience developing shopper marketing plans
  • Prior experience working with large Canadian Brick & Mortar retail and E-commerce customers
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and strong proficiency in Nielsen applications
  • Agility in managing multiple time-bound projects involving several stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Market Analysis to identify, develop, and measure retailer opportunities
  • Leverage insights to drive the strategic rational for customers to execute our ideas
  • Develop and activate shopper marketing programs that grow purchase frequency, trips, and usage to drive brand profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Sales, Sales Strategy, and Marketing partners to develop, manage, and budget shopper marketing programs as a part of Annual Business Planning.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant retail and agency stakeholders.
  • Manage projects, approvals, budget, timelines and ROI analysis with partner agencies and internal approvers/stakeholders.
  • Provide sales and presentation tools of shopper marketing programs for Key Account Managers.
  • Constantly search for external and internal best practices to engage the shopper and customer (activation toolkits), involving agencies when appropriate
  • Facilitate cross functional communication of program post-analysis, KPI measurement, best practices, and lessons learned to drive optimized effectiveness of shopper activations.
  • Project manage our display process from ideation to execution
