Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED with 3+ years of experience working with gas turbine engine components and experience as an aviation inspector or as a shop quality representative (DQR) with experience working within an Aviation Repair Station (Part 145) and/or Air Carrier (Part 121)
- Associate degree with 1+ years of experience working with gas turbine engine components and experience as an aviation inspector or as a shop quality representative (DQR) with experience working within an Aviation Repair Station (Part 145) and/or Air Carrier (Part 121)
- FAA Mechanic certificate (Part 65)
- Must successfully complete a FAA/DOT pre-employment background check and a FAA/DOT drug screen
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Responsibilities
- Quality control inspections on engines, and engine components, in a Repair Station and Field environment
- Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our Maintenance Operations Center, or team lead
- Operate precision tools and equipment to perform accurate dimensions without error
- Understand, interpret and apply Service Bulletins, FAA/EASA Advisory Directives and Technical Variances when applicable
- Responsibility for paperwork including log book entries, 8130-3 and return to service documents
- Conducts audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all maintenance, prior to approval for return to service
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ year’s prior gas turbine experience
- Strong leadership skills with past experience
- Boroscope knowledge
