Requirements
- 3+ years in B2B sales
- Strong understanding and prior experience with shipping logistics, e-commerce, and/or B2B SaaS products
- Successfully closed business over the phone or in virtual meetings
- A clear track record of closing new business and exceeding sales quotas
- Comfort with ambiguity, agility in your ways of working, and a willingness to adapt based on new information
- Used consultative selling techniques to identify client needs and promote services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to travel for Client meetings
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle (i.e., from lead generation to closing) for ShipAccel prospects/ clients, with a focus on generating new business within the mid-market eCommerce space (companies with $30-350M of annual revenue)
- Use a customer-focused, consultative sales approach to educate prospective clients on which of our products or services will best fit their needs
- Conduct product demos, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships across a wide array of prospects and clients
- Work with our Inside Sales Representatives to prospect and generate leads to build a strong pipeline of future clients
- Become an industry expert in eCommerce for global and domestic logistics, as well as a product expert who can identify and resolve inefficiencies and pain points in client workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our software products and identify new opportunities for company growth based on client feedback
- Think critically about sales data to recommend new and scalable strategies
- Build relationships with decision-makers at all levels across a diverse set of industries
- Record all activities in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management and perform various administrative duties as needed
- Conduct face-to-face meetings virtually or in person when available/ required
- Complete other duties as assigned
