Set up Process Technician

Requirements

• Ability to perform installation of tooling (injection, IBM, ISBM and extrusion) into moulding machines as per scheduling requirements.
• Ability to receive QA part approval when the set-up is complete and ready for production.
• Ability to clean mould components of the out-going mould before it is put on the racks for service.
• Ability to ensure a complete line clearance procedure has been completed as per SOP before turning machine over to production.
• Ability to conduct visual inspection of both out-going and in-bound tool during the set-up process.
• Ability to complete all necessary documentation related to the mould change.
• Ability to install any automation required to run the mould being installed and return auxiliary equipment to the appropriate storage area.
• Ability to ensure the machine and surrounding area is cleaned thoroughly before turning the machine and mould over to production.
• Ability to help in mould recovery process as required or as idle time permits.
