Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant operations in a heavy industrial or production setting. Experience in water treatment greatly preferred.
- Associates degree or higher
- Technical degree, equivalent military experience or applicable industry equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with industrial equipment, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in process optimization, simple data analysis, and basic water chemistry
- Proficient with computers, business software such as Microsoft office, Skype, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions
- Communicate verbal and written
- Lead and motivate teams
- Demonstrates critical thinking and complex trouble shooting in order to guide and advise team members and customers
- Able to operate a company vehicle
- Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and quantity goals are met while adhering to customer environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and efficiency while implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of AQUA Pros with a range of experience levels.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performance work environment that values diversity, teamwork, and innovative thinking where safe sustained production is paramount.
- Effectively communicate expectations and verify compliance to drive accountability.
- Develop and manage budgets for plant operations to a margin goal.
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, and cost control measures.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to safely minimize operational and overtime costs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company/customer policies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work with branch safety professional to conduct regular safety audits with a focus on safety improvements and address any action items promptly.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report daily on plant performance both internally and externally with and without upper management.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations to senior management and engineering based on findings.
