Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant operations in a heavy industrial or production setting. Experience in water treatment greatly preferred.
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Technical degree, equivalent military experience or applicable industry equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with industrial equipment, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in process optimization, simple data analysis, and basic water chemistry
  • Proficient with computers, business software such as Microsoft office, Skype, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions
  • Communicate verbal and written
  • Lead and motivate teams
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and complex trouble shooting in order to guide and advise team members and customers
  • Able to operate a company vehicle
  • Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and quantity goals are met while adhering to customer environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and efficiency while implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of AQUA Pros with a range of experience levels.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performance work environment that values diversity, teamwork, and innovative thinking where safe sustained production is paramount.
  • Effectively communicate expectations and verify compliance to drive accountability.
  • Develop and manage budgets for plant operations to a margin goal.
  • Oversee inventory management, procurement, and cost control measures.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources to safely minimize operational and overtime costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company/customer policies.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work with branch safety professional to conduct regular safety audits with a focus on safety improvements and address any action items promptly.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report daily on plant performance both internally and externally with and without upper management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management and engineering based on findings.
