Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising and 5+ years’ experience in search engine optimization in a corporate environment, or similar combination of education and experience *required*
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Data Studio
- Experience using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and HubSpot
- Skill with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) of web content
- Knowledge and ability to use pertinent digital advertising platforms
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SEO content strategies optimized for AI-driven search engines, generative search models (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT-based search), and voice search
- Identify and test emerging AI search trends, including zero-click searches, conversational AI queries, AI-powered knowledge graphs, among other future AI developments
- Audit and enhance website performance, including Core Web Vitals, crawlability, and mobile-first indexing, to ensure AI-effectiveness
- Continuously refine keyword strategies to align with search intent and evolving ranking factors
- Collaborate with content writers to ensure AI-friendly content that aligns with NLP (Natural Language Processing) algorithms
- Optimize existing and new content, enhancing structured formatting, readability, and relevance to AI search patterns
- Implement entity-based SEO techniques to strengthen Medi-Share’s authority and semantic relevance in AI search ecosystems
- Set specific SEO objectives and KPIs for traffic growth across all owned web properties
- Use SEO tools to monitor search visibility and ranking fluctuations
- Provide regular reports on organic traffic growth, AI search insights, and lead conversions influenced by search results
- Drive A/B tests on content and structured data to measure effectiveness in search engines
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links and performance trends
- Understand SEO copywriting, and serve as liaison between various departments
- Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry’s Christian beliefs
- Perform all other duties as assigned
