Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s Degree; or 4 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
- Experience with creating test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Experience with integration and test principles and processes
- Experience with systems engineering principles and processes
Responsibilities
- Synthesize test requirements into verification requirements, test objectives, success criteria, and required resources for system level tests and demonstrations.
- Support the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), test data and test reports.
- Execution of qualification and acceptance testing per those requirements, plans and procedures.
- Participate in internal and customer test planning working groups.
- Support program reviews and customer delivery (CDRL) development
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
- Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, testing houses, development engineers and other stakeholders involved in the testing process.
- Review test plans, procedures, and reports; witness testing as the Cognizant Engineer
- Participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external) and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables.
- Review requirements, develop Test Plans and write Test Procedures.
- Execute tests, manage and prioritize problems/failures.
- Review and evaluate test results and provide summary reports.
- Work with cross functional, multi-discipline test teams.
- Identify configurations to support test and prototypes of developing systems.
- Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data.
- Document test results and prepare test status documentation.
- Create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues.
- Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
- Experience with Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
- Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS
- Experience with Model-Based Engineering Tools
- Experience developing and executing integrated hardware and software testing.
- Experience with IBM JAZZ
- Experience with ICBMs or DoD programs
- Experience with AF Test Directive 99-103
- Experience with entire product lifecycles, modeling, and engineering best practices
