Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 12 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 10 years of experience; or PhD with 8 years of experience
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Proven experience in developing SE artifacts and managing large-scale, complex defense projects
  • Proficiency in systems engineering tools and software (CAMEO, DOORS, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee SE artifact development throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and status reports
  • Guide the development of SE artifacts including requirements, specifications, design documents, interface control documents, and verification and validation plans
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices
  • Perform technical reviews and audits to ensure SE artifacts meet program requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Prior experience with the Sentinel Program or similar defense programs
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
