Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 8 years in contract administration/management or related field; Master’s degree with 6 years of experience; or a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 12 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Requires 3 years of experience in a formal management position
- Requires experience negotiating and administering various contract types of varying sizes and types of agreements
- Requires experience with pricing principles and FAR/DFARS as well as associated Federal Contracting regulations
- Requires experience with advanced proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships
- Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic contractual leader managing a team of Professionals, and providing guidance to compliantly achieve company and customer objectives.
- Provide advice on contractual risks, liabilities, and obligations; devise, recommend and implement creative and innovative solutions and negotiation strategies.
- Navigate complex contractual issues; develop productive relationships with customer counterparts.
- Abide by the highest ethical standards for personal conduct and provide the requisite leadership to ensure compliance with Northrop Grumman ethical standards and requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
- Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current, active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
- Experience leading a graphically diverse team
- Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures
