Requirements
- 8-12 years of hands-on IT Engineering experience
- Strong background in automation, scripting (PowerShell), and infrastructure automation techniques
- Experience supporting technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure
- Extensive experience in Microsoft 365 administration and virtual desktop technologies
- Expert-level proficiency in Entra ID, and MDM solutions
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in diagnosing complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and providing long-term solutions
- Experience optimizing Microsoft environments for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Commitment to continuous improvement, learning, and staying abreast of industry developments
Responsibilities
- Architect and support solutions leveraging MS Azure
- Expert-level configuration and management of Entra ID, ensuring robust identity and access management
- Design, engineer, and manage virtual desktop solutions such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Windows 365
- Engineer and manage M365 office and email infrastructure, DNS, and certificates lifecycle
- Manage Windows devices leveraging Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Develop automation solutions for Windows infrastructure utilizing platforms such as Power Platform and scripting tools, including PowerShell
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance processes
- Manage and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Deploy comprehensive monitoring solutions, ensuring real-time visibility leveraging native Azure capabilities and other 3rd party solutions
- Provide timely response to system performance issues
- Diagnoses complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and providing long-term solutions
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders, including clearly communicating technical information to non-technical teams
- Apply and understand security best practices, leveraging Microsoft Identity Access Management (IAM) and Conditional Access Policies to ensure secure access to resources
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning and active participation in relevant industry events
- Available for occasional off-hours break-fix, patching and application deployment support
