Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Data Science, Business strategy or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 15+ years’ experience in strategy, data & analytics, or digital transformation leadership.
  • Significant background in managing large-scale, multi-functional global operations and strategic transformation initiatives in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Strong expertise in technology governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven track record of leading business efficiency initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience selecting, integrating, and managing enterprise platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of applications in automation, data analytics, and enterprise systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to executive, technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent people management skills; operate under a fully transparent model and approach with a focus on building trust within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mastercard Financial Systems team responsible for governance, leadership, strategy, business consulting, and operations across critical systems of Oracle, Hyperion, Coupa and multiple third-party applications.
  • Lead the Automation, Analytics and Engineering teams responsible for governance, leadership, strategy, business consulting, and operations across various digital ecosystems, infrastructure maintenance, automation creation, analytics and reporting at a GBSC and enterprise level. (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, APRO, CoPilot, Automation Anywhere, etc.)
  • Define a multi-year GBSC AI and Automation strategy and roadmap, ensuring scalability and measurable ROI.
  • Identify and prioritize AI and Automation driven opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of Automation/AI advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends, continuously assessing new innovations to drive strategic adoption.
  • Implement governance framework defining methods to manage, monitor, and measure consistently across the GBSC utilizing resources, processes and automation to influence, deliver solutions, improve service delivery, and realize savings.
  • Maintain, grow and partner with critical stakeholders inclusive of EVP and C-Suite owners such as CFO, Corporate Treasurer, Corporate Tax, regional and business unit CFOs and EVPs across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Product and Technology teams.
  • Oversees all M&A due diligence and integration activities for area managed.
  • Ensure all KPIs and service levels are met; drive adequate and timely root cause mitigation to understand drivers and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Perform planning, forecasting, and budget tracking/adherence for responsible area to reduce total cost of ownership; allocate resources efficiently / workforce planning and capacity management.
  • Support holistic platform security posture, which includes proactively identifying security risks and implementing both risk mitigation plans and control functions.
  • Oversee identification, enhancement and improvement of all risks in process, audit and key controls to mitigate gaps and subsequent risks.
  • Partner with IT and Information Security leadership to integrate AI into existing enterprise systems, ensuring robust infrastructure, data governance, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Responsible for vendor management of areas managed and approves vendor selection.
  • Manage, coach, and develop leadership team with strong succession planning.
  • Maintain productive work environments with high employee satisfaction; attract and mentor a team of top tier leaders and high performing employees with a matured approach to problems solving and leadership.
  • Collaborate with business leaders across functions (venue operations, finance, HR, customer experiences) to identify, test, and implement high-impact AI use cases.
  • Perform other broad duties as needed/directed to accomplish the overall Data & Analytics mission at MSG.
