Requirements
- Six (6) or more years of B2B software marketing experience, with a proven track record of scaling brands and driving measurable results.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking campaign performance and ROI.
- Experience with growth marketing, SEO, and paid media strategies.
- A results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation.
- A deep understanding of software marketing, including lead management, acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and brand strategy.
- Strong influencing and team-building skills, with experience working in high-performing teams.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work across multiple departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values.
- Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.
- Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location, such as a Basecamp.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) growth strategies for the new business verticals.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to understand industry pain points and trends.
- Define value propositions, solution messaging, and positioning tailored to the new business industries.
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, webinars, content marketing, paid ads) to generate qualified leads and direct sales.
- Work with user acquisition and sales teams to drive pipeline growth and improve conversion rates.
- Develop and manage ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns targeting high-value accounts.
- Create industry-specific marketing collateral (web experience, case studies, testimonials, blogs, videos).
- Collaborate with the other vertical product marketing teams to ensure alignment.
- Provide sales teams with industry-focused sales decks, battle cards, and pitch materials.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to refine messaging and product offerings.
- Define KPIs and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness (MQLs, SQLs, ROI).
- Optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Report on pipeline impact and marketing attribution for determined verticals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in both startup and growth-stage environments
- Having a strong personal passion for ‘jobs to be done’ while outdoors is a plus.
