Requirements
- 8 years of relevant design experience in a commercial organization, with minimum 5 years in developing and delivering app design for iOS and Android.
- Experience shipping digital products.
- Proficient in Figma or Sketch.
Responsibilities
- Design mobile app interfaces and interactions that are elegant, accessible, intuitive, and delightful with a deep understanding of our riders and other road users.
- Create, test and iterate the app information architecture, wireframes, user journeys and work closely to bring the features to life; ideate and validate the UX/UI design for iOS and Android.
- Champion a Human-Centered process to collaborate across the company in prioritizing and solving scenarios and create impactful solutions that are aligned with our brand and push our strategy.
- Partner closely with UX Research in designing and running research studies and leverage research insights and communicate design solutions to inform product direction across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Zoox’s design systems and principles.
- Leadership capabilities to orchestrate complex projects with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficient in designing systems architecture with a strong focus on accessibility. Skilled in implementing WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards, including text resizing, and screen reader semantics.
- Demonstrated experience presenting design strategies with great verbal and written communication skills to convey design concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in 3D animation techniques to create visually engaging content and bring ideas to life through dynamic visual content and UX prototyping skills.
- Experience working in AV, mobility, or automotive industries.
- Experience designing for a wide range of users and abilities IAAP CPACC or equivalent Certified.
