Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment, applying design tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: illustration, animation, motion graphics, creative direction, prototyping.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
  • Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
  • Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aesthetic excellence (e.g., color, layout, motion, typography, etc.)
  • Experience articulating 0-1 features and evolving existing design patterns.
  • Experience developing/evolving design systems or heuristic frameworks.
  • Familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (Android and iOS).
  • Ability to synthesize and organize information ranging from broad and complex to nuanced and intricate.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence product design strategy.
