Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product design environments with significant stints working on design systems and native mobile projects
- Previous design system experience and a systems thinking mindset. This won’t be your first time working in a Figma library, designing components that integrate seamlessly, or writing simple and useful documentation.
- You’ve worked with both iOS and Android systems and are familiar with the platform conventions of each. You know your size classes and how to build for dynamic type.
- A sense for the details. You proactively search out edge cases and test your designs against them. Your components handle long text strings or dark mode colors in straightforward ways.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration. You know when and how to work with a diverse cast of stakeholders, including developers, accessibility specialists, product managers, and partner design teams.
- Effective agile methodologies. You are comfortable working in a two-week sprint cadence and have successfully refined stories with an eye towards delivering incremental value.
- An owner’s mindset. You can drive a project forward through ambiguity and prioritize your effort with an eye towards shipping value. You know how to pull in feedback from key stakeholders and use this input to increase the quality of final outcomes.
- Strong writing skills. Our work involves a significant amount of written communication, targeting both internal and external audiences. You craft high quality documentation, Jira stories, and other artifacts that effectively balance completeness and conciseness.
- Polished presentation abilities. You can weave stories that showcase, explain, inform, and persuade in a variety of formats and before a variety of audiences.

- Detail-focused, organized, and able to attend to a variety of tasks throughout the day. Comfort in a project-oriented work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
- Prior working experience within the financial services industry.
