Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above and/or insurance certifications
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in underwriting excess casualty business
Responsibilities
- Manage the Western Region Territory for Umbrella and Excess Casualty business
- Analyze risk data of proposed insureds to identify hazards and exposures for new and renewal business
- Implement underwriting rationale through exposure evaluation, risk assessment and pricing of individual risks
- Adhering to underwriting rules and guidelines
- Developing and maintaining relationships with brokers to facilitate a flow of desirable new business and to maintain renewal business via quality service
- Collaborating with other product lines to provide full product support to the client
