Requirements
- 7+ years of experience shipping JavaScript/TypeScript as production software
- 4+ years of shipping consumer-facing products
- Ability to work independently seek and resolve ambiguities in specifications
- A creative eye for stunning graphics and animations, improving user experience.
- Develop software with performance in mind
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a sophisticated streaming application
- Collaborate with other Apple team members on cross-platform features
- Mentor junior developers
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with tvOS or iOS development
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Understanding of Node.js and v8 engine
- Knowledge of Smart TVs, set top boxes, JavaScript memory and CPU profiling tools
- Knowledge of adaptive streaming technologies such as HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), DASH etc. is a plus
- Knowledge of testing frameworks Chai, Mocha
- Knowledge of Gulp, NPM, Rush.
