Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead design efforts for the analysis of complex transportation projects, including highway, bridges, transit systems, and multimodal transportation networks
  • Responsible for Transportation design including with project team and providing the team with advanced technical oversight
  • Performs site assessments and generates detailed analysis and technical reports
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively; Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication
  • Provide in-process design reviews of transportation infrastructure design, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence; Implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements
  • Provide technical training and mentoring; Provide technical assistance in resolution of field issues with minimal support from senior staff
  • Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance in all aspects of engineering work; Interpret state and local design criteria and apply it to the specific project needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals
  • Lead project interviews and project presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
  • 14 years of experience minimum required, 16 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
