Requirements
- 3 + years of technical writing experience, preferably within the tech, payments industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience writing for APIs, SDKs, and embedded systems
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex information
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring others in effective documentation practices
Responsibilities
- Create and update comprehensive documentation for our products, including product docs API documentation.
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and user-friendly.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Developer Experience teams to gather information and understand product features.
- Regularly review and revise content to improve quality and usability.
- Implement best practices for documentation, including the latest industry tools and technologies.
- Foster a strong documentation culture within Airwallex by being an advocate for high-quality documentation across the company.
- Lead efforts to overhaul and refresh existing documentation content.
- Partner with the AI team to leverage AI-powered internal tooling that enhances both documentation writing and the developer experience.
- Participate in exciting projects like modernizing our information architecture and scaling documentation efforts globally.
