Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 8+ years experience in technical program management, data & analytics or product management / software development
- Demonstrated PM (both program and project) skills, with a passion for ensuring agile execution between technical and business stakeholders
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with SQL, Databricks and Power BI
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements across SOX, CCPA, and GLBA
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong stakeholder management.
- Across all areas of responsibility, demonstrated & continued delivery in areas of simplification, standardization, time to solution, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Define analytics processes and create templates to ensure consistency across the data analytics org, e.g. requirements template, sprint planning, monthly updates
- Meet regularly with business stakeholders to define business and technical requirements for both ad-hoc and ongoing analytics projects.
- Standardize and implement scope & requirements documents that enable rapid prototyping, experimentation, and high quality delivery of analytics & insights solutions for business leaders.
- Define, design and execute robust code and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all solutions delivered to business stakeholders. Organize & utilize feedback to ensure sprint retrospectives include lessons learned from solution testing & implementation.
- Establish measurement systems to track & improve the speed & quality of analytic squad execution and end user experiences with analytics solutions.
- Design, implement and consistently execute a lightweight yet rigorous data & analytics governance program for Compass.
- Own the processes & methodologies by which essential data hierarchies and KPIs / Measures are created, updated, and governed, including (but not limited to) a robust data dictionary & publications catalog.
- Ensure strong feedback loops back to the Enterprise Systems team in Engineering, and proactively advocates for system updates / changes to simplify downstream data objects (pipelines, meta-data, data, etc.)
- Establish quality limits & thresholds for governed data elements, and Instrument measurement / monitoring to ensure all changes & quality operate within set thresholds and improve over time.
- Liaise with senior executives & managers across Compass for compliant use of data and data tools – responsible to ensure the Compass Data & Analytics organization meets & exceeds all requirements for SOX, CCPA, GLBA, and any other compliance or regulatory scheme applicable to our business. Includes regular interactions with Legal, Audit, and InfoSec.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- PMP and / or Agile certification
- Basic understanding of data & analytics methodologies, technologies & syntax, including but not limited to Python, PySpark, DA,, Azure, AWS, etc.
- Experience with machine learning workflows and integration with LLMs.
- Deep business understanding of real estate, specific to Compass, with ability to translate raw data & information into actionable insights that drive strategic business objectives
