Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA is preferred for this role
- 3-6 years’ experience years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
- Experience in Partnership, Corporate, S-Corp. & individual tax returns
- Experienced in U.S. disclosure of foreign income and assets
- Experience working with tax provisions is preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
Responsibilities
- Interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services benefiting clients in diverse industries
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returns
- Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize our company’s tax position while considering business goals, industry trends, and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with clients and provide proactive tax advice and solutions
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their growth and development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Coordinate workload distribution, projects, and training initiatives within the tax department
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with tax provisions is preferred
