Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of engineering experience
- Experience in C, C++ programming and the use of MATLAB
- Experience developing signal processing models
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Developing complex radar processing modes
- Radar data analysis and modeling
- Developing Monte-Carlo based radar simulations as well as real-time Hardware in the Loop simulations
- Creating automated regression tests and scripts
- Interfacing with the Software team to ensure algorithms developed are implemented properly
- Properly document progress made in terms of simulation enhancements
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- Radar signal processing and digital signal processing
- Kalman Tracking, neural networks, radar performance tracking, and other advanced signal processing concepts
- Configuration control / management
- Interacting with other groups on a large program and with customers
- Creating automated regression and testing scripts
- Simulation validation and verification
- Working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver with good technical and written communication skills
