Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or a related STEM field. Alternatively, 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, or 2 additional years of experience with a non-STEM degree.
  • 12+ years of experience in government or industry, with expertise in areas such as the DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or systems engineering for large, complex System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture environments. This includes working in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • Strong experience and deep understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience in integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools (HSI).
  • Direct experience supporting the NGA and/or mission partners.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and successfully pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring Mid-level and Junior Systems Engineers in performing tasks such as requirements engineering, solutions development, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, integration, testing, evaluation, maintainability, and system analysis across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.
  • Overseeing the planning and traceability analysis of user requirements, system architectures, procedures, and issues to automate and enhance existing systems while assessing cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints.
  • Leading Mid-level and Junior Systems Engineers in developing solution designs based on detailed analysis of requirements and emerging technologies.
  • Assisting the Government in capturing and translating mission and customer needs into systems and capability requirements and corresponding solutions.
  • Supporting the analysis and allocation of system requirements to architecture components and implementing programs.
  • Performing system integration activities to ensure seamless operation of complex systems.
  • Conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Action (CoAs) evaluations, trade studies, and engineering assessments.
  • Assisting the Government with strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
  • Integrating multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within Major Systems Acquisitions, ensuring successful collaboration across organizational and agency boundaries.
