Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 14+ years of related work experience
- Strong RF and hardware knowledge
- Experience in designing communication systems and networks
- Proficient in creating technical documentation and diagrams (e.g., system performance specifications, interface control documents, and supplier statement of work)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop communication and network systems
- Document system architectures and hardware configurations
- Create block diagrams, cable diagrams, and test setup drawings
- Develop Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW) and performance requirement documents
- Conduct lab and field testing to validate system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Test Engineers, Software Engineers, and Firmware Engineers
- Manage full life-cycle projects, from concept development to implementation and sell-off
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools; experience with RF performance analysis and predictions using MATLAB or other RF/Waveform tools is a plus
- Knowledge of current military radio, modems, and antennas for Line of Sight and SATCOM applications
- Integration and test experience in lab environments, anechoic chambers, EMI testing, field testing, and flight testing
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
