Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or IT operations roles
- Expert-level knowledge of VMware stack including vSphere, vCenter, and VxRail
- Strong experience with SANs, enterprise server hardware, and data center technologies
- Highly proficient in Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams
- Solid experience managing environments in Azure including hybrid infrastructure
- Advanced understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, and domain services
- Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills for escalated infrastructure issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail with the ability to develop and maintain clear technical documentation
- Self-starter, able to work independently while supporting team goals
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and system implementations
- Manage and maintain VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, and VxRail systems
- Monitor and support SAN/storage infrastructure and data center-level server hardware
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Manage and maintain Azure cloud resources and hybrid environments
- Administer Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user authentication
- Ensure regular and reliable system backups and disaster recovery readiness
- Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure-related issues escalated by the help desk
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing IT operations and business initiatives
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, procedures, and infrastructure standards
