Maintaining communications with operations, procurement, logistics, quality, engineering and distribution
Creating integrated processes to streamline and execute Lean material plan
Interacting with sales, engineering, and facilities management on material schedules and expected deliverables to support production and customer committed availability
Managing and directing site purchasing with cancellations, on boarding suppliers, and Grief
Managing and directing the material procurement specialists, including training, hiring, and coaching
Establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks to guide supply chain planning and forecasting
Monitoring planned vs. actual performance and presents results to senior management
