Requirements
- Associates degree and 10+ years of procurement / supply chain management or similar experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of procurement / supply chain management or similar experience OR
- Master’s degree and 6+ years of procurement / supply chain management or similar experience, OR
- JD/PhD and 3+ years of procurement / supply chain management or similar experience, OR
- 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Responsibilities
- Responsible for effective operational relationship management
- Engage with relevant functions to deliver supplier performance across Quality, Cost & Delivery
- Support development and deployment of the Integrated Commodity Strategy
- Integrate across required functions to lead and deliver short to medium term cost reduction plans
- Deploy risk management practices to assess, communicate and mitigate supply chain risk
- Lead and develop the team with ultimate accountability for team performance
Preferred Qualifications
- A global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working.
- Experience of leading teams, influencing and building relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven delivery of managing change programmes, embedding core standards and new ways of working.
- A background in purchasing or supply chain management with an understanding of manufacturing processes and associated cost drivers.
- Programme management skills and experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and integrated supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery would be advantageous.
