Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, product management, or consulting within the payments industry
  • 4+ years in management consulting, strategy operations, or program management within high-growth technology, fintech, payments, or ridesharing sectors
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SQL for data-driven performance measurement and analysis
  • Strong record of cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
  • Deep understanding of payment processing systems, payment methods, routing, and industry regulations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of emerging payment trends and innovations
  • Ability to translate complex technical and financial concepts for diverse audiences
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with demonstrated success managing competing priorities
  • Strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Identify emerging payment trends and innovations to incorporate into Lyft’s roadmap
  • Develop and implement comprehensive payment strategies aligned with business objectives while enhancing customer experience
  • Provide metrics and reporting on payment product performance to executive leadership
  • Build and nurture strategic partner relationships, serving as the primary liaison between partners and Lyft’s internal teams
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential new partners to strengthen our payment ecosystem
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for payment processing, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams on API integrations and data processes with external vendors
  • Lead the development of technical documentation for partnership initiatives
  • Drive collaboration across product, engineering, finance, and tax teams to execute strategic payment initiatives
  • Lead and motivate cross-departmental teams to achieve organizational objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced certification
  • Experience with international payment systems and regulations
  • Knowledge of identity verification and fraud prevention technologies
