Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management, continuous improvement, manufacturing, quality engineering, product development, research & development, environments.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality / Continuous Improvement / Project Management (scoping, planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial analysis).
- Must have work experience with 21CFR parts 820 (QSR), ISO13485 and 93/42/EEC.
Responsibilities
- Focuses on improving the Production & Process Controls, Non-conforming & Supplier Management processes in support of the MMS Tactical & Strategic Objectives.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and executing CI / Kaizen blitzes in conjunction with other functions and the sites.
- Works with all MMS functions to drive CI projects beyond QA/Ops, e.g., Sustaining Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Design Assurance, Program Management and Regulatory.
- Leads and works with the MMS CI team and leadership to develop continuous improvement strategies linked to Production & Process Controls, Non-conforming & Supplier Management processes.
- Develop and maintain an influential and effective network and communication with peers and leadership for identifying improvement opportunities.
- Evaluates, proposes and implements new processes and technologies to optimize process efficiencies.
- Benchmarks internal and external organizations.
- Identifies, implements, leverages, teaches, and transfers standard methodology knowledge to and through the organization.
- Assists functions in utilization of standard processes (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, CI Tools, etc.).
- Identifies, implements, leverages, and transfers best practice knowledge to the MMS organization in the areas of Production & Process Controls, Non-conforming & Supplier Management.
- Collaborates with a network of QA Leaders and MMS CI leaders that will support the deployment of CI projects.
- Collaborates with Corporate Quality on key BD CI strategies and objectives e.g., Inspire Quality.
- Effectively navigate and lead through the challenges of change and establish key stakeholder engagement focused on effective solution solutions.
- Pursue and actively manage key stakeholder relationships that support the broader improvement strategy.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customer, contractors, and suppliers.
