Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, or a Master’s degree, plus 6+ years of experience in quality engineering
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and software development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, and maintainability best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere
  • Experience in private cloud operations
  • Proficiency in Java and related frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Led developing and implementing rigorous testing protocols, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
  • Ensured all software releases met stringent quality and reliability standards
  • Managed operational complexity within the VCF Operations and Management layer arising from new features, integrations, and increased scale
  • Develop, implement, and enforce engineering best practices on scalability and maintainability
  • Identify potential issues before they escalate, analyze root cause, and implement preventive measures
  • Integrate lessons learned into future projects to avoid recurring issues
  • Offer technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to QA and development
  • Drive a culture focused on continuous improvement and the pursuit of quality excellence
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure the delivery of high-quality results
  • Maintain and enhance the reputation of VCF solutions through consistent quality assurance and control
