Senior Software Quality Engineer

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, or a Master’s degree, plus 6+ years of experience in quality engineering
Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and software development methodologies
Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, and maintainability best practices
In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere
Experience in private cloud operations
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels

Led developing and implementing rigorous testing protocols, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
Ensured all software releases met stringent quality and reliability standards
Managed operational complexity within the VCF Operations and Management layer arising from new features, integrations, and increased scale
Develop, implement, and enforce engineering best practices on scalability and maintainability
Identify potential issues before they escalate, analyze root cause, and implement preventive measures
Integrate lessons learned into future projects to avoid recurring issues
Offer technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to QA and development
Drive a culture focused on continuous improvement and the pursuit of quality excellence
Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure the delivery of high-quality results
Maintain and enhance the reputation of VCF solutions through consistent quality assurance and control
