Requirements
- 5+ years of development experience, primarily focused on UI/UX development
- Fluent with JavaScript and/or TypeScript along with modern frontend technologies (React, Redux, etc.)
- Proficient in a modern compiled programming language (Java, Go, C#, C++, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desire to collaborate with fellow teams and mentor engineers
- Is curious, collaborative, empathetic, and intellectually honest
- Has a passion for problem solving and learning new things in the domains of software engineering and frontend development
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, build and deliver globally facing customer features of the Atlas UI
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks for the frontend
- Own and optimize our pipeline for bundling up all assets for the browser
- Improve and maintain high code quality through static analysis, linting, typechecking, and other best practices
- Mentor and support other engineers within UI/UX development both on our team and others
- Lead and contribute to complex projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining frontend build tooling (Webpack, Eslint, TypeScript) or a desire to work heavily in these areas
- Experience maintaining frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library) or a desire to work heavily in these areas
- Experience with Bazel build tooling a plus
