Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development
- Proven expertise with React and/or React Native for building robust applications
- Experience working in a collaborative environment involving different functions, stakeholders, and subject matter experts
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable picking up new technologies (our team builds on Ruby, React, Kotlin, and React Native, and our stack will continue to evolve.)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user-facing applications using React.js and/or React Native
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective solutions
- Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across our frontend and backend systems
- Help define and uphold engineering standards, best practices, and documentation
- Proactively identify and address technical debt and areas for improvement within the codebase
- Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment pipelines for web and mobile.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with backend development preferred, including API design and implementation.
