Requirements
- 5-8+ years in social media at an agency or on the client-side as a Social Strategist or Digital Marketer
- Self-starter mentality and track record for inventive social ideas
- Proficiency in coordinating and collaborating within a large organization and 3rd party agencies/partners
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
- Experience in providing strong feedback for social content
- Passion for entertainment, social media, youth culture, gaming, and the Overwatch brand
- Excellent verbal, organizational, and technology skills
- Knowledge of the latest platforms and technologies, and a desire to see opportunities for strategic brand involvement
- Understanding of brand strategy and ability to write persuasive POVS
- Knowledge of key social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube) and associated analytics programs and tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Tubular)
Responsibilities
- Support and implement our Overwatch franchise global social strategy, including: Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitch.
- Coordinate the programming calendar and lead on publishing content to Overwatch social channels daily.
- Play a key role in our strategy to help lead production and ensure executional success among internal and external teams.
- Drive the management of running social media channels for Overwatch
- Partner with internal teams and an external agency team
- Assist in relationships with social media platforms and digital partners
- Assist with real-time publishing and engagement day to day and during real-time activations and live events
- Listen and respond to players on our owned channels
- Work efficiently with internal cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, Public Relations, Events, and more.
- Drive weekly social media reporting, insights, and delivery through the use of analytics and CMS tools, including Sprinklr, Tubular, and Native Analytics.
- Apply takeaways to support the creative approach to reach critical metrics across platforms and campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate with live service gaming experience
