Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SAP including testing of new reports, transactions, etc.
- Certified in Hazardous Material shipping compliance (49 CFR, IATA, & IMDG).
- Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Possess strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex business processes, and translate this information into relevant business terms and operational concepts for the warehousing staff.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work with competing deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Review short-term and long-term forecasts with plant manufacturing and planning teams to ensure on time and high-quality shipping of Entegris products from the San Luis Obispo (SLO) site.
- Manage a team of shippers and material handlers to monitor and fulfill shipping signals from the Entegris ERP system.
- Work with customer-facing teams (Sales, Customer Service) to develop and enact customer solutions (labeling, customer portals and ASNs, customer carrier collaboration, etc.).
- Develops and maintains procedures related to inventory control, material handling, and Hazardous Material shipping compliance; identifies and implements process improvements.
- Maintains accurate and concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communicates and trains as needed.
- Interact with vendors, suppliers, customers and peers in Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Transportation, Customer Service, IT, Internal Audit, and Finance to optimize systems and processes.
- Selects, develops and coaches employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Provides recognition for employees.
- Addresses issues with employees with supportive documentation.
- Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and applicable budget requirements.
- Conducts timely employee performance reviews.
- Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification is desired.
