Senior Shipping Supervisor

Strong knowledge of SAP including testing of new reports, transactions, etc.
Certified in Hazardous Material shipping compliance (49 CFR, IATA, & IMDG).
Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Possess strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand complex business processes, and translate this information into relevant business terms and operational concepts for the warehousing staff.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work with competing deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Review short-term and long-term forecasts with plant manufacturing and planning teams to ensure on time and high-quality shipping of Entegris products from the San Luis Obispo (SLO) site.
Manage a team of shippers and material handlers to monitor and fulfill shipping signals from the Entegris ERP system.
Work with customer-facing teams (Sales, Customer Service) to develop and enact customer solutions (labeling, customer portals and ASNs, customer carrier collaboration, etc.).
Develops and maintains procedures related to inventory control, material handling, and Hazardous Material shipping compliance; identifies and implements process improvements.
Maintains accurate and concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communicates and trains as needed.
Interact with vendors, suppliers, customers and peers in Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Transportation, Customer Service, IT, Internal Audit, and Finance to optimize systems and processes.
Selects, develops and coaches employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Provides recognition for employees.
Addresses issues with employees with supportive documentation.
Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and applicable budget requirements.
Conducts timely employee performance reviews.
Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
