Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Rally.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles.
- Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog and prioritize work.
- Monitor and report on team performance and progress.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Work with partner Scrum teams and corporate resources to ensure dependencies are met to maximize team efficiencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Advanced Scrum Master certification (e.g., Advanced Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Professional).
- Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
