Requirements
- Must be hands-on technical and be solid in technical design. This does have some technical lead aspects but will still be actively hands-on as a developer.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- 3+ years of Salesforce Lightning development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and preferably Marketing Cloud adjacent technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform and Lightning App Builder, including declarative and code-based tools.
- Experience with complex, highly integrated SFDC orgs.
- Experience in building and enhancing continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines with git source control experience.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Own Projects: Take ownership of software development projects from conception to deployment and support, including design, architecture, implementation, and monitoring. Deliver projects that include product or platform and stakeholder teams, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth within the team. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices are followed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, best practice solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience. Collaborate with administrators and developers in a SOX-controlled HITRUST environment using Agile methodology during the US Pacific Time Zone.
- Technical Expertise: This is very much a hands-on technical position. Maintain and continually improve APEX triggers, controllers, batches, and services. Deliver new features using Salesforce technology, including Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flows. Maintain legacy code and configuration, including LWC, JavaScript Controllers, CSS, and HTML.
- Configuration and Automation: Administer and build solutions on Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to support evolving business processes. Implement configuration changes focusing on automation and maintainability. Build and test Flows, Validation Rules, and configure custom and standard objects in a highly integrated environment.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, troubleshooting complex issues. Define solutions and operational processes to level up the team. Lead ambiguous projects or systems and create clarity for them.
- User and Security Management: Understand all aspects of user, security, access, territory management, and license management.
- Architecture and Roadmap: Contribute to the overall architecture and technology roadmap. Identify and design solutions to ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Business Context: Understand the business context and how it intersects with the team’s goals. Ensure ongoing optimal performance of the Salesforce org and bring creative, best practice solutions to business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or Healthcare is a plus.
