Requirements

  • A 4-year technical degree (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years direct experience in sales and business development in a technology company
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, generating revenue, winning new projects, and managing Tier 1 accounts
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Sense of ownership and accountability for achieving business objectives
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales and business development activities for large North American Network Equipment Manufacturer (NEM) accounts. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at both working and exec levels internally and with the customer
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Generate revenue and drive business growth by winning new design ins and managing existing business at large strategic accounts
  • Provide market insights and competitive analysis to support strategic decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Line Management, R&D, FAE, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction and product alignment with customer roadmaps
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management
  • Secure customer order bookings and billings to meet quarterly business plan and AOP
