Requirements
- PhD in Materials Science required
- Ten years of experience in developing functionalized nanoparticles and hardcoats and multifunctional coatings for new product development
- Ten years of experience in applying new technology in innovative coatings development and demonstrating feasibility through commercialization
- Three years of experience in developing high performance alternatives for fluorinated coatings
- Three years of experience in interfacing with scientists and product development within a multinational company to leverage and develop new coatings solutions and applications
- At least five Issued Patents for innovations in new technology
Responsibilities
- Lead technical research and development in low surface energy coatings, abrasion and chemically resistant hardcoats, self-healing coatings and multifunctional coatings
- Develop technology from lab to pilot scale to manufacturing of new products
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties
