Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card
  • Experience in capturing and translating high level functional, technical, and performance requirements
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to break down technical specifications into lower-level requirements and business rules/stories
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to audiences with varied technical backgrounds
  • Experience with Agile

Responsibilities

  • Work with other Analysts and the Customer to capture and translate high level functional, technical, and performance requirements into detailed acceptance criteria for epics / user stories in an Agile environment
  • Decomposition of high-level information into details; abstracting low-level information; distinguishing requests vs needs; distinguishing requirements vs solutions
  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal communication coupled with strong listening skills
  • Follow documented procedures to maintain system documentation, requirements repository, and business rules repository, and other project documentation
  • Assist Deployment Leads, engineers, and other internal stakeholders with client facing activities to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Work with the development/scrum teams to ensure that they understand the requirements
  • Provide business area and technical expertise to management and stakeholders to facilitate planning, set direction, define business initiatives, and develop solutions to business information systems needs and requirements
  • Support all project phases from inception through completion
  • Be able to manage multiple assignments, changing priorities, and work independently with little oversight
  • Participate in the Agile ceremonies and interface with the Agile team(s) and other program staff as required

  • Knowledge of DoD Travel policy and/or travel industry
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Micro Focus ALM/Quality Center for defect, requirements and verification management
  • Experience creating detailed reports and presenting information
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio and Power-Point
