Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry
  • Quality-related certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) are highly desirable
  • Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, data and statistical analysis, and quality control software (MS Excel)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and standards for electronic products
  • Conduct rigorous tests and inspections on products and components to ensure they meet quality specifications and compliance standards
  • Investigate and determine the root causes of defects or failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality standards, test results, inspection processes, Nonconforming materials and corrective actions
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to develop and refine product specifications and manufacturing processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency
  • Liaise with customers to understand their quality requirements and feedback, and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
  • Ensure all products meet industry regulations and standards, such as ISO, RoHS, and IPC standards

  • Ability to meticulously review and analyze products, components, and processes to identify any deviations or defects
  • Strong ability to collect and interpret data, making informed decisions based on statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in identifying issues, determining root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Clear and effective communication skills to articulate quality standards, processes, and findings to various stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards
