Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures.
- MS in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
- Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to solve minor or complex problems using data, logic, and judgement.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work successfully with others toward a shared goal with active participation.
- Capable of managing projects of various sizes including technical and non-technical aspects from inception to completion.
- Ability to meet deadlines and take independent initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
- Enthusiasm, passion, and desire for continued learning of new ideas and concepts.
- Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of structural engineering analysis, investigation and design tasks in steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures.
- Prepare drawing and calculation packages and write reports.
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct a large and important engineering project or a number of small projects with many complex features.
- Manage projects including proposal writing, budget development, project financial tracking, project planning, client management, and business development.
