Requirements
- 8+ years of construction project management experience with a focus of delivering interior office fitout projects
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similarly applicable degree is an asset
- LEED or WELL Certification is an asset
Responsibilities
- Managing multiple projects in various phases of development with a focus on Corporate Interior Fitouts
- Flexibility to be capable of managing various project types including Corporate Office Workplace, Hotels & Hospitality, Education, Industrial, and Data Center projects
- Acting as a single point of contact, regularly proactively communicating with your client and manager
- Establishing, maintaining, and achieving project goals and criteria to satisfy client expectations
- Leading the activities of clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, AHJs, and other stakeholders
- Negotiating with landlords and coordinate between base building and tenant improvement scope
- Developing, implementing and maintaining specified project management processes
- Defining, documenting, and controlling project scope and changes to the specified level of quality
- Developing a project control budget and baseline schedule aligned to scope
- Controlling costs and schedule, and regularly reporting project status
- Preparing and updating a Risk Management Plan and mitigating project risks
- Developing a contracting strategy, procuring, negotiating, and holding parties accountable to their contracts on behalf of our clients
- Leading project meetings, generating meeting minutes, and preparing progress reports
- Overseeing the general contractor’s progress during construction, keeping our clients informed on all project risks and providing mitigation advise
- Preparing/updating project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, critique progress draws and invoice applications, updating tracking reports and maintaining files for due diligence and financials
- Direct a timely close-out process including punch-list completion, warranty documentation and fulfillment, proof of permit close, as-built drawings and schedule
- Maintaining complete and accurate project documentation, easily retrievable and suitable for audit
- Implementing PM software, leveraging JLL technology solutions whenever possible
- Managing project revenue forecasting, client invoicing, accounts receivables and financial closeout
