Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or related field required.
- 10+ years of rail and transit experience working as part of a project team is highly desired.
- Experience working for or with an Owner’s Project Manager or the MBTA is highly desired.
- Experience in public design and construction is strongly preferred.
- Experience working on MGL c149A Projects, construction management at risk (CMAR) delivery, strongly desired.
- Available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, required. Occasional weekend work will be required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read and understand plans and specifications, required.
- Exceptional ability to remain organized and handle multiple action items simultaneously required.
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel and e-Builder strongly recommended.
Responsibilities
- Overall project management and coordination of activities.
- Following up on action items.
- Attending meetings with the client and project stakeholders.
- Generating meeting minutes.
- Managing and assisting project staff (consultants and client personnel).
- Visiting active construction sites.
- Developing and preparing progress reports and presentations.
- Performing other duties required to support the client and project(s).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for or with an Owner’s Project Manager or the MBTA is highly desired.
