Requirements
- 5+ years of applied project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Biomed preferred)
- Applied experience with Microsoft Project as well as other Office Suite applications
- Prior SAP experience preferred (including DIRs, BOMs, MMDS, and Engineering Change Requests)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations
- Well-versed in Medical Device Design Controls
- Strong communication skills including experience communicating to senior leadership
Responsibilities
- Effectively organizing and leading cross-functional project teams using project management skills
- Managing multiple projects varying in size, complexity and business impact
- Leading and/or participating in cost savings ideation events
- Developing cost savings ideas into feasible projects
- Scoping, planning, and execution of projects
- General project management (forming project teams, budgeting, assigning and tracking tasks, identify and mitigating project risks, etc.)
- Evaluating and applying regulatory standards
- Review of design inputs and outputs
- Working with suppliers to implement new designs
- Implementing design changes into production for current products and providing consultation support of other cost savings projects
- Proactively engaging in ongoing team process improvements and standard work lean office activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior SAP experience preferred (including DIRs, BOMs, MMDS, and Engineering Change Requests)
