Requirements
- Must possess an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance
- Typically requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
- Advanced expertise using Microsoft Project
- Must possess an understanding of advanced scheduling theory (e.g., PASEG) including experience with: Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based), schedule status processes, schedule health assessment (e.g., 14-Point Analysis), resource loading/management, Baseline Change Control and IMS configuration management, schedule execution metrics (BEI, CEI, CPLI, finish variance, etc.), Critical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float management
- Must be an independent thinker capable of working proficiently independently as well as within a team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule using best practices as in the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG)
- Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work with the functional areas to identify and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies
- In conjunction with the Project Manager, and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish and maintain an accurate Master Schedule showing the tasks required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones
- Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects
- Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management
- Identify and generate a portfolio report of major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project
- Identify critical path and task dependencies
- Set and maintain the baseline schedule
- Perform ‘what if’ scenarios within the schedule
- Develop schedule version control processes
- Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual dates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using tools like Microsoft Project, Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project, and Monte Carlo Analysis tools
- Advanced Excel skill set including Power BI, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Scheduling Professional (SP) certification
