Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the technology, product development, or engineering sectors.
- Must be an influential leader at their core, with the ability to influence Senior Product & Engineering leadership and be a key member of the leadership team within Product & Engineering.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Jira).
- Technical background and familiarity with software development and engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a program management strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and goals.
- Develop well-executed programs around initiatives such as client-facing projects, OKR and planning processes and operating rhythms, as well as Client-facing Beta Programs.
- Lead changes to implement better SDLC practices by deeply engraining individually into the overall SDLC and understanding responsibilities between organizations.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects. Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure projects meet established quality standards and business objectives.
- Influence P&E leadership on best program practices, developing new processes while balancing the overhead of said processes.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to define project requirements and objectives. Ensure clear communication and alignment with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Implement best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of project execution.
- Manage project resources, including budgeting, staffing, and scheduling. Optimize resource utilization and address gaps proactively to ensure project demands are met.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on project status, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure robust risk management practices are integrated into all project activities.
- Leverage technical knowledge and experience to guide project teams in overcoming engineering and product development challenges. Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product goals.
- Maintain a strong client focus, ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations. Address client feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred.
