Requirements
- 7+ years of Program Management experience
- Proven success in managing multiple programs or large projects of varying scale and complexity
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product management processes
- Deep first-hand understanding of Agile practices
- Ability to choose the right methodology (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc) for the right purpose
- Experience using tools like JIRA, Notion, Confluence, and Slack
- Skilled at influencing outcomes without relying on direct authority
- Clear and confident communication with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and apply strategic thinking
- Championing teams to create quality products and deliver measurable value
- Creating conditions for teams to self-organize and succeed
- Valuing relationships and camaraderie across functions
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex programs or large projects throughout the product lifecycle
- Drive cross-functional execution by sequencing dependencies and aligning scope, timelines, and priorities
- Shape program objectives and success criteria in partnership with PDE discipline leads and senior business stakeholders
- Establish and track program performance, proactively communicating progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies to stakeholders
- Orchestrate alignment between product development and business functions
- Anticipate organizational friction and support change management
- Organize and facilitate highly effective meetings for a wide range of audiences
- Lead program and org-level process improvements
- Help define the future of program management at Sony Music
- Coach mid-level PgMs and peers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the music industry and/or strong passion for music
- Experience working as a scrum master, product manager and/or engineer
- Exposure to scaled agile frameworks, such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale
- Jira Administration experience
- B2B or B2B2C experience
