Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field, with 15 years of experience (10+ in management). An advanced degree is highly preferred with 13 years of experience (10+ in management).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and initiatives.
- Experience in strategic technology roles and the ability to use financial models for initiative assessment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that drive the company’s vision and long-term goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic objectives with business operations.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in healthcare technologies. Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and guide the company’s long-term direction.
- Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives and programs, ensuring they meet organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. Monitor progress and make independent decisions as necessary to ensure program success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and vendors. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans.
- Lead peers and teams to success through influence and indirect authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background and experience in developing and leading Corporate Strategy at a global strategy consulting firm or within a large, publicly traded company.
- Experience in driving Top-Down Strategic Planning processes and leading major capital allocation initiatives.
- Expertise in portfolio prioritization to help formulate the company’s long-term vision and strategic priorities.
