Requirements
- BS/MS or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required
- Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle
- 8+ years in product management experience
- Must have experience in one or more areas – Networking, Network Management, Network Security, Next Generation Firewalls
- Hands-on experience in managing devices from onboarding to decommissioning and prior experience in building SaaS products, driving IT operational efficiency is a plus
- Strong and proven (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills in leading and contributing to cross-functional teams
- Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills required with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and strategies
- Experience in making data based product decisions
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy for simplifying the onboarding flows for cloud security and firewall products.
- Understand customer problems and use cases intimately. Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Own the vision, roadmap and requirements for your features. Create and manage the product roadmap, outlining key features, enhancements for the SaaS platform offering around activation, onboarding, identity and access management and platform scaling.
- Collaborate with UX, engineering and other product team members to deliver high-quality products that solve customer problems with a differentiated, automated and optimized approach.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans.
- Engage with the product marketing team and help them develop compelling messaging, impactful sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams.
- Interact with customers, partners and sales engineering teams in different forums to gather feedback and evangelize the product.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of visibility and monitoring features.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
